Nurse and co-owner of Sairaala KL, Elina Salmi, meets clients during their first phone call and accompanies them throughout their entire treatment experience.
Elina graduated as a nurse from the Helsinki Nursing School in 1988. After meeting Asko, the couple soon became entrepreneurs and founded their own clinic. "I have been a nurse, entrepreneur, and mother for almost my entire career." Elina and Asko's children have followed in their entrepreneurial parents' footsteps, and the company's premises and activities have been familiar to them since they were little. Asko's work as a surgeon has taken the family all over Finland and even across the oceans. "We have always been a 100% family business."
Entrepreneurship suits Elina, as it gives both doctors and nurses the freedom to realize their potential and develop the service to its fullest. “Our goal has always been to develop our expertise so that we can do our work better than anyone else. That is why, in addition to our work, we have also conducted research on the effects of plastic surgery. We want to understand our customers not only as patients, but also as people."
A confidential relationship with each customer is invaluable to Elina. “A good customer relationship is like a state of flow; it moves both parties forward, and its effects can be very long-lasting.” Working with aesthetic treatments has also helped Elina grow as a person and a woman.
“A lot happens in a woman's timeline. A 30-year-old woman is completely different from a 60-year-old woman. The experience of oneself is not just about appearance or spirituality, but both. That is why investing in appearance is always also an investment in spiritual well-being. It is very valuable to be able to work with that experience.”
