To whom is Fotona 4D laser skin treatment suitable for?

Fotona4D laser treatment is a comprehensive facial rejuvenation treatment. The treatment exfoliates and lifts the skin at the same time.

The treatment option can be selected as needed, from two-dimensional TwinLight® treatment to four-dimensional Fotona4D™ treatment. The goal of Fotona 4D treatment is to strengthen collagen production throughout the entire thickness of the skin and reduce wrinkles. Fotona 4D treatments also guarantee a short recovery time.

Using two different wavelengths and four different treatment modes, a firming "SmoothLifting" effect is achieved on the face. The 4D treatment treats both the skin of the face and the mucous membranes of the mouth. Laser treatment stimulates and tightens the tissues: for example, nasolabial folds – the creases from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth – and small double chins can be reduced, while exfoliation makes the skin look younger.

How is the Fotona 4D laser treatment performed?

By utilizing Fotona's two different wavelengths – Erbium and Neodymium – the skin can be treated in four stages (4D). Using the device's different settings (SMOOTH®, FRAC3®, PIANO®, and SupErficial™), the skin can be treated at various depths, always focusing on the signs of aging that occur at each depth.

The treatment is performed without anaesthesia. If necessary, the skin is cooled with cold air. We recommend that the skin be treated with Environ's vitamin A and C creams for six weeks prior to the actual laser treatment. After treatment, the skin must be well protected from the sun to prevent pigmentation disorders. The treatment can be given in series and renewed as needed.
